hi
there is no section for sql server 2012 so i am writing here
Wold some one please help me make sense out of this:
1. i have installed sql server 2012
2. every 15 min i get Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database 'ReportServerTempDB'
3. in 2008 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' account is sysadmin, according to Microsoft in 2012 is it not the case
4. I ran profiler and i see that Microsoft Windows Script Host is accessing sql sever. Specifically running this SELECT name, database_id FROM sys.databases WHERE (state = 0 OR state = 1024) AND source_database_id IS NULL AND is_read_only = 0
5. I did some investigating online and it seems granting this account more access is the solution.

Q: If i have to grant access to some sccount i would like to understans why

Can someone hekp me with understanding this?

Below is the sources i red online

Did you install reporting service somewhere and put related dbs on that sql2012 server? If so, can change RS service account or grant proper sql permission to that account.
