Hello SQL Pro's.

I'm looking into a way to query the action 'path' location of where
a trace file is created.

I've been reading all kinds of information about C2/CC Audits, Custom Traces, Template Traces,
and all that good stuff but I haven't seen any information on the system tables that might have
the path stored in them.

Is there a way to query the trace file locations?

Thanks very much.

:)

Wow... easy. Thanks :)

I can just query the sysfiles for that.

Much appreciated.

You can also look at sys.traces and see the path (among other thigs) for any traces still open.

SELECT * FROM sys.traces
