Unable to store greek works in sql 2008 in a text field

Example: Both are referred to as “plagues” (πληγή, πλήσσω, 8:12; 9:20; 11:6)
Result: Both are referred to as “plagues” (p????, p??ss?, 8:12; 9:20; 11:6)

Thanks for your help

Tried with ntext data type? And need N in front of string for unicode like N'plagues'.

Yes rm is correct in that you need a unicode datatype to store them in but I would recommend a NVARCHAR() vs NTEXT going forward. Also make sure you have the correct collation specified for those objects you whish to use that in.
