I have created an excel file that calls a stored procedure to allow users to fetch data on demand. I cannot save the login string in the excel connection. How do I grant all users the ability to run the stored proceedure? I am running SQL server 2008 if that makes any kind of a difference.

I used these instructions for how to call the stored procedure with out using VBA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to get this data out ASAP.

Thank you!

You may create app role in the db and grant exec permission to that sp, then use app role in excel when make sql connection.
