What is the difference(s) between enabling C2 auditing and "Blackbox" traces?

Thank you

The C2 audit creates a file in the default data folder that lists all actions in the server. When the file reaches 200MB it rolls over and continues in this fashion until stopped or the drive runs out of space at which point SQL Server stops. Its purpose is to ensure all activity is captured or noone can use the server. Where as a BB trace is a limited set of events and a set number of roll over files which keep wrapping and overwritting each other. Only use C2 mode if you have a specific requirement to do so.
