Recently, I started seeing the following error when SQL executes SSIS packages in my test environment:

Event Name: OnWarning

 Message: Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

 Operator: WPSIC\ca-svc

 Source Name: Recreates Excel File

 Source ID: {5eb8c82d-1d1b-48df-a031-3c0a65d1a9f0}

 Execution ID: {38AB7801-187A-405A-986E-97B5D31FCD61}

 Start Time: 3/23/2011 2:16:26 AM

 End Time: 3/23/2011 2:16:26 AM

 Data Code: 0

The packages are ending successfully, but the business partner is stating that they are not getting the data.  The business client is on SQL 2005, and we recently upgraded the SQL server on our side from SQL 2008 to SQL 2008 R2.  The packages were created in BIDS 2008 and are executed and stored in the file system on a machine that has SSIS 2008 loaded.

Now the "dumb" question, should I update the application server to SQL 2008 R2 SSIS?

Should the packages be modified and saved in BIDS 2008 R2?

Any suggestions on resolving these errors would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I'll enable package logging first to check if anything wrong during execution.
