I wrote a stored procedure that in the end prints the result of its analyses:

print 'Here is the result: '
select @a, @b
print 'part 1: '
select * from #X
print 'part 2: '
select * from #Y
print 'process completed '

And when I run it, it works fine, but when I send it to our client's site and they run it they get this output:

Here is the result:
part 1:
part 2:
process completed

This is as if the select statements did not exist!!!

Why have the select statements been suppressed?

Yes, it does return rows.

Even if it does not, then an empty recordset should be displayed.

Also, the select variables should show their values even if they are null.

The thing is that NOTHING is displayed for select statements

What could the cause and solution be?

thanks,
