I would like to implement the following hierarchy Y > Q > M > W > D

This however creates the following structure;

Y2008
Qtr1
Jan
W1
W2
W3
W4
W5
Mon28
Tue29
Wed30
Thu31
Fri1
Sat2

Feb
W6
Mon4
Tue5

As you can see, since 1st & 2nd Feb belong to week 5 they are included in Jan and excluded from Feb.

Can the above be avoided/set not to happen in AS 2005? i.e. designed to drill as below;

Y2008
Qtr1
Jan
W1
W2
W3
W4
W5
Mon28
Tue29
Wed30
Thu31

Feb
W5
Fri1
Sat2

I have created the Time dimension using AS 2005 wizard, created a table with the data. Funnily enough if you see the actual data, Fri 1 is in W5 with Feb.

Thanks in advance.

Week split never worked for me.

Most BI architects just skip weeks as a level in the Time dimension.
