I have a DTS package where floe is defined as below:
truncate table in DB (DTS task) > on Success > Connect to flat file location> DTS Pump > Server A (Connection 1) > on sucess Execute process task (deleting text file)

Then I have exec Proc (DTS Task; conenction1) > on success > Server A (connection 2) > DTS Pump >
output to a text file

When I execute the package from DTS it works fine.
When I run it as a job 1st part works but exec proc fails and text output file is not created.

Any Ideas ???
Thank you for any and all the help you can provide,
Nat

Thank you for your response rm.
Actually the reason it was not executing as intended is because even though both the task used seperate connections it was refering to the same SQl instance hence was processing parellel. So stored proc will finish before even the file was generated. To solve the issue I designed two packages , executing stored proc as a step and then calling 2nd package from the 1st . This seem to have solved my issue.
