I had an interview couple of weeks ago (for a dotnet developer) and got a chance to look at their database. The manager said that "we worked hard and normalized the database". Then I looked at the "stored procs" and "views". Not many stored procs but tons of views.

question does having lots of views mean the database is highly normalized??

Views have nothing to do with normalization. Normalization has to do with the table structures and design.
