I am trying to find a way to install Full-Text Search on a named installation of SQL. Can it be done after the fact? I installed the named SQL instance yesterday. Can I add Full-Text on it today?

We had this running on a cluster and for some reason it seems the registry is corrupt.
Do you think just resinstalling it again will work same way.

I installed sql and did not check full text. Then tried to readd it ...it doesn't give you the option to do this.
Even using add/remove programs with change options.

Keeps saying already installed.

Let me know how you get on.

I tried with standalone version of SQL first and it does seem that you can't install FTS if you forgot to include it on first install - this is rather odd.
