Dear all,

I have many jobs import some text file data to SQL server by NT Trust connection. However,

the jobs failed last few days by the following error:

SQLState = 28000, NativeError = 18452
Error = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.!

After getting such error, I use the NT account to login SQL server by QA and it is work.

I try restore the master db, delete and recreate NT account from SQL server but failed.

I used windows 2003 with SP1 and SQL2000 with SP4.

Thanks

Kevin

I run 'bcp / isql' command for import / export data from SQL in dos prompt in other windows server.
The jobs is batch file and run smooth but failed one week before.
(i.e. using bcp from export data from A SQL server and then import to B SQL server)

Dear Russell,

All of the jobs under SQL agent is work fine.

Thanks

Kevin

it is windows job. every time failed since last week.

the script as follows:

bcp "select site_id, convert(varchar, buss_date, 112) from db_name..EOD_Hist where modified_date between getdate()-1 and getdate()" queryout eod_hist.txt -Sserver_name1 -T -c
isql -E -Sserver_name2 -dOMS_PRD -Q"Delete from lf_EOD_Hist"
bcp oms_prd..lf_EOD_Hist in eod_hist.txt -Sserver_name2 -T -c

transferring data between server_name1 and server_name2

I guess it is something in windows account, then i disjoin the domain and join again.

Then it back to normal. However, 3 days later the problem occurs again.

how can i do?

I login by another windows account (local admin and SQL sysadmin right) is working fine. Also I have many windows accounts are working now.

The account (run for jobs but failed auth. with SQL) can login such windows server. It seems that it can auth. with windows domain but not SQL server.

In sum up, just one or two accounts can't be trust with SQL server.

I used disjoin and rejoin domain method, then work for several days.

If the accounts have error in sql, why just use above method to fix it?

Is it something in windows server?
