Hi
I am getting the following error
"Could not execute procedure on remote server because SQL Server is not configured for remote access"

My procedure works in test env i call same proc on 4 server however when depltyed to prod i got the error

we use same login for linked server with same permissins. "Allow remote connections" box is checked in Connections Tab but i am still not able to egt it to work

Help please!

RPC and RPC Out are checked

is there anything else i might be missing?

suere i am using 4 part name
i have server PS2 configured as linked server on PS1
so when i call procedure i run execute PS2.nflsaleprodreport.dbo.usp_ticket_master_all_with_rollup_first_quarter

again it works fine in out test env but it does not in prod

btw it is off in test environment

got the following
Server: Msg 7357, Level 16, State 2, Line 1
Could not process object 'exec nflsaleprodreport.dbo.usp_ticket_master_all_with_rollup_first_quarte'. The OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB' indicates that the object has no columns.
OLE DB error trace [Non-interface error: OLE DB provider unable to process object, since the object has no columnsProviderName='SQLOLEDB', Query=exec nflsaleprodreport.dbo.usp_ticket_master_all_with_rollup_first_quarte'].

The query does only math and calculations

same domain, same os, same permissions
Not sure baut mdac
only this different is test server is configured as master server
i dont think this would matter? being a master server?
