Sql server browser , for instance, if i have 2 instances default instance 1 and
name instance 2 helps applications to reach a instance by providing only the name of the instance
without having to specify in witch port the instance is .
Kind of a DNS for SQL Server 2005.

My question is :

To this service , its only necessary to give local service account
premissions as logon?

Or the Browser must comunicate with other service browsers on other machines and therefor should
have a domain account logon ?

Sorry double post,
