Hi all,

I am finding out that it's not always a good idea to assign distributor password while creating a remote distributor, 'cause you're creating another default admin account "distributor_admin", which is non-trusted standard account, and you're leaving one more door open.

But what's the alternative? I don't see the option to create Windows authenticated distribution account.

Thanks

actually, you have to provide a password for the distributor, and it has to be a strong one. I've learned that it is more secure than "impersonating windows login" when setting up the distribution server.
