Hello everyone

I have to upgrade from Personal SP3 to Standad Edition. The How-to in MSDN

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...l_1d7y.asp

explain this task.

However here the step 7 the option "Upgrade" appears in disable mode.

So, I'm thinking in execute the following steps:

- Backup all databases, user's and system's
- Copy os all datafiles, for security (!)
- Uninstall Personal
- Install Standard
- Install SP3
- Restore master and msdb

I hope the system be restored. Is it OK?

Anyway I will have all backups.

Thanks

Hello again,

As a said before, when you perform the actions as MSDN says, the steps 6 and 7 doesn't work as written there.

But the command select @@version now show the Standart Ed.

So, the server is updated.

See you
