I have created a calculated member and linked it to a parent-child dimension but now when viewing the cube and dimension from office web components (OWC) pivottable object in frontpage or internet explorer, the calculated members does not appear in dimension. They doesn't exist for OWC pivottable object version 10.0.0.5608. Any idea?

in a schema view:

parent-child dimension: Accounts
calculated member: 9020-Custom Account Formulation (created in such way: primary dimension: Accounts, primary member: [all accounts], member name: 9020-Custom Account Formulation )

this way when dragging dimension accounts and dropping it into row fields area of pivottable control, what i expect to see is something like this:

Accounts
1020-Profit
2010-Revenue
3010-Direct Costs
...
9020-Custom Account Formulation

but what i see is:

Accounts
1020-Profit
2010-Revenue
3010-Direct Costs
...

1. First of all you have to check your CA member in Analysis manager.
Make sure it is seen there and that Visible property (Advanced Properties) is set to TRUE.

2. check your CA member through MDX Sample application .

3. Check on the client using Excel or Proclarity.

You should define "9020-Custom Account Formulation"
as a calculated member in measures dimension, and assign its parent dimension to account.
