Hi all

I am not a Reporting Services developer. We have a need to generate a report with all the WYSIWYG stuf(Headings, Fonts...Etc.) and be able to open it with Excel. I know, this is totally absurd. Out client not only wants the data (Rows/Columns) , they want it to look just like the fancy report.

We currently use Crystal Reports which is unable to support this requirement.

Does anyone knows if this is feasible in Reporting Services.

I checked the MS site, and could not find any description of this capability.

Any insight or if you can point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Michael.

Yes, SRS supports exporting directly to Excel. The reports will maintain the formatting(logo, headers, colors, fonts, etc) you set.
