We had a DB server crash last weekend. After we got the server back up and running we noticed that replication was not working.

I see the following SQL log errors:

03/25/2009 05:01:15,spid51,Unknown,Replication-Replication Transaction-Log Reader Subsystem: agent ICC-DBSRV-001-NightOwl-7 failed. The process could not execute 'sp_repldone/sp_replcounters' on 'ICC-DBSRV-001'.
03/25/2009 05:01:15,spid51,Unknown,Error: 14151<c/> Severity: 18<c/> State: 1.

The logreader error details are:

The process could not execute 'sp_repldone/sp_replcounters' on ICC-DBSRV-001'. (Source: MSSQL_REPL, Error number: MSSQL_REPL_20011)

The specified LSN (000000ad98:000000c3:0007) for repldone log scan occurs before the current start of replication in the log (000000ad99:000000c6:0007).

Can someone tell me how to fix this? Can it be fixed without having to remove all publications and subscriptions?

I am new at DB administration, so this is all kind of confusing to me. I was thrown into the position because they decided to down size and let the DB administrator go. I know ... stupid huh? Well I am an old system administrator but not a DBA.

So if someone could take pitty on an old man and give us some help I will be really happy and greatful!
