I downloaded from msdn subscriber downloads the iso images for SQL Server
2008 both enterprise and standard editions and made to dvd's by using isobuster.

I was amazed, that when I try to install the products - either on a standard
or virtual PC - the setup.exe file does not exist on either DVD's on the root
directory or setup directory.
Trying to use setup100.exe gives an error. ( According to documentation, the
files is used to uninstall an instance of sql server).

Is anyone succeded in installing the english editions of sql server 2008
from the images provided on msdn subscriber downloads site ?
Has anyone faced the same issue and solved it ?

Any help me which can explain or succeed in the installation process of the
products mentioned above will be appreciated.
Thank you.

That is right. I missed the files from root.
I used the iso file and attached it in my Virtual PC . The installation fails anyway:
It fails when installing .net Framework 3.5 . I tried it on three different Virtual PC ( two of them are provided by Microsoft for evaluation purposses of different products ) and it fails every time I attach the iso file.

Have you encountered the samme problem ? Did all of you succeed in installing SQL Server 2008 successfully ?
Thank you for your answer.
