Hy.

I'm working with SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. As there is no Reporting Services subcategory in SQL Server 2005 category I'm posting my question here.

I have made a report which should use different Data Sources to connect to different SQL Servers where data is stored. Is it possible to dynamicly choose which Data Source to use from a parameter which comes from preceding report. Or is the only way to make a report for every SQL Server.

Thanks for an answer or a hint where to read more about this.

Yes it is possible.

In the connection string set the Initial Catalog to use the value provided for a parameter you set. Example: ="Data Source=server;Initial Catalog=" + Parameters!Repository.Value
