I have a requirement to a)run a remote batch file (\\server1\shutdowen.bat) that shutsdown a Peoplesoft environment and then b)run a database refresh script (local e:\sql\scripts\refresh_hcm.sql). This would run on a nightly basis
I'd like to run the above as a scheduled task. I'd probably run the scheduled task on the Database Server. So what would be some ideas to set this up? I'm not sure if I can create one bat file (that gets executed in scheduled tasks) to perform both tasks, but unsure of the command syntaxs.

Appreciate input

You can set it up as an SQL Server Agent job. You can use Management Studio GUI.
