Hello,

We are using SQL DTS to connect to an Oracle Server using Microsofts ODBC driver for Oracle. Data movement from a flat CSV file to the Oracle instance is extremely slow. Is there anything I should know to improve the speed?

The DTS package opens a flat file containing only 13,000 rows. Is there a way to have DTS perform comits after so many rows?

Thans

What is the difference between a flat file and a table?

However, DTS still uses the ODBC driver for Oracle. I tested with the use of a table and still have the same slow response.
