Not sure if this is what you're after but the DBCC log command will return log information for a particular db. Usage:

DBCC log ([dbname]/[dbid],[Output])

[Output] indicates the level of deatil required, the acceptable values are: -1, 0 , 1, 2, 3 or 4

e.g. DBCC log (northwind,3)
