Hi everyone,

There are several ways to disable transactional replication, but what is the best way?

exec sp_removedbreplication
or
do this from EM GUI
or
just stop the distribution agent ??

Also, how easy is it to re-enable it aferwards, without re-initializing the whole publication, just the changes that took place since you disabled it?

Thanx for the help!

Hi rm
But if we stop the logreader agent there there could another problem of log file growth arises as u know the log file cannot be truncated if some transactions are present because they are marked for replication

Correct me if im wrong?
