Hi

I'm new to replication and have got Snapshot replication working on two test servers.

It has been working fine, and then I added an extra column to the article using the sp_repladdcolumn. The Snapshot agent generates the artice without problem. However I get the following error
'The process could not bulk copy into table "table_name"'
when the Distrubution Agent runs.

In the Distrubtion Agent Error information I get
'ODBC SQL Server Driver Error 22003' - Numeric value out of range

The properties of the article is set to
'Delete all data in the existing table'
If that helps.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Hi

The version on the Dist/Publ are SQL 2000, SP3 and Mdac version is 2.80.1022.0.

The version on the Subscriber are SQL 200, No SP ('RTM' = shipping version) and Mdac 2.70.7713.4.

Do I need to install the SP3 on the Subscriber server?

Hi

I've installed SP3 on the Subscriber server, and still no joy.

I'm still getting the same error
'The process could not bulk copy into table "table_name"

Any more ideas?

I've updated the MDAC and still getting the same error.

I ran the sp_browsereplcmds, and I'm not clear what I should be looking at, how do I identify which command as caused the problem?

The last command was

'\\PRAXISTEST\C$\SQLData\NMSnapShot\unc\PRAXISTEST_cogentRep1_Rep1_2_Rep2\20050421171439\detail_data_4.dri'
