Hi All, hopefully a simple question for some one to answer!

I have a current, real time database that acts a reporting database. This db is replicated to an Archive database on the same site (on the same server actually) and any old data is deleted (more than 4 months old) each week. This db is also replicated to our DR site so that if we lose our primary site the applications still work etc! My question surrounds the archive DB!

I basically need to have the archive db at the remote site as well so as far as I can see there are two choices.

i. replicate the archive DB on the primary site to the secondry site.
ii.Set up replication of the main DB at the secondary site to an archive database at the secondary also!

What would the recommended approach be!

Its all good fun, cheers in advance for any help/suggestions.

Paul.
