I have about 12 DTS packages inside 1 dts package and it's been running fine for about 2 weeks now and I got this error on one of the 12 dts package's this morning. I googled the error and found the below link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319058
But I am not using any VB code in running this DTS.
I am running this DTS as a scheduled sql job where I am using DTSRUN ...oper sys command.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Thanks for the speedy reply.
I do'nt think anybody stopped the job, I also checked the event viewer and I do'nt see server reboot or shutdown during that time.
I got the error even when I ran the dts package manually.

maybe u can make the dts pkgs steps in a job rather than tasks in a single dts?

here is a sample using activex script instead of execute dts task

In the article which you provided, it was saying the following:
ActiveX Script Task: without support for transactions.
Since I load the data from mas90 soa files(almost like flat files) into sql tables, do I need to worry about "support for transactions".
And also execution was cancelled by user error started appearing on another table too.
Thanks!
