Any idea what is the best way to change the mssqlserver service account ??

Currently it is running under the local account, I have joined the server to the domain and want to run the mssqlserver account under a domain user account.

I am not sure whether it is recommended way to just go to the window services and change the account there. I thought if I could do it in SQL enterprise manager it will be better. Please advise.

thanks

Hi rm,

Sorry to mention that it is SQL6.5 that I am mentioning.
Can I just change it in the services applet ?
Will that mess up the permission setting ?
