If I drop the BUILTIN\Administorators ID jobs that are owned by an ADirectory ID won't run via SQL Agent. The ID is the ID that installed and runs SQL Server and has 'sa' rights. If I add the BUILTIN\Administors ID Back into SQL Server the jobs run fine. Any ideas?

Why not change the owner of the job to a user defined in the sysadmin role, and then try taking out builtin\Administrators?

I did and that does work. However, the question remains why doesn't an AD ID work though?

But the ID has 'sa' rights and is running SQL Server. It is an admin ID by definition of being 'sa'.
