Hi,

Could anyone please confirm if there are any known issues faced after upgrading evaluation edition of SQL Server 2008 to a full blown edition (Enterprise \ Standard) ?

What would the procedure that is recommended if the server in question would be used in production after the upgrade process has completed? Does uninstalling the evaluation edition and starting afresh with a new install makes better sense given that server will be in production? There will be no practically downtime available to fix possible issues if any if they surface later on.

Thank you.

Thanks Andrew, The link is related to SQL Server 2005, but i guess the same would be applicable for SQL Server 2008 as well.

The following link confirms that while upgrade from SQL 2005 Evaluation is not supported the same is possible with SQL Server 2008.
