Hi,

I have faced this error a number of times when working with SQL 6.5
and for every instance that it occured restarting services solved
the problem. It typically happens due to a transaction which aquires
a lot of locks. Killing that transaction is not of any help. So if restarting services
is a option available to you can then do the same.

Vikrant
