I am having a problem when a developer goes to create a new table in SQL Server 2000 they are automatically being converted to a sys. table. How do I change this so they are actually user tables so they can use them?

Check the default database assigned to the developers and check the SP_HELPUSER to see the information for that user in the database.

correct and all user tables usually have the word users by them. In this case the developer creates a new table and it is creating it as sys. what ever he named the table.
