Ok. Big HA/DR initiative going on @ the company I was brought into. I was thinking MSCS and geographically distributed (Site A- Site B) ACTIVE/ACTIVE clusters on SAN Storage for SQL -as that's my experience in this.

However, they are considering going w/NSI's Double-Take for site-to-site replication Or maybe the GeoCluster product. Any one w/exp on using this in a HR/DR scenario?

What are the pros and cons? Which is better solution MSCS vs. Doubletake. What are the diffs?

How does Double Take handle high availability, or is it just a DR solution?
How is failover/failback? Aren't the SQL Services down on the second site until failover?

Any info would be E-X-T-R-E-M-E-L-Y appreciated. THX
