I have a schema that looks like this:

<Replica lastupdate=''>
<Employee rank='Manager' EmpID='140'>
<Project client='IBM' AccountNum='432412'>
<Comment type='ContactComment'>
<p text='Data Data Data'/>
<p text='Data Data Data'/>
<p text='Data Data Data'/>
</Comment>
</Project>
<Project client='Pfizer' AccountNum='231756'>
<Comment type='ProjLeadComment'>
<p text='Test XML Data'/>
</Comment>
</Project>
</Employee>
</Replica>

I have the following tables and fields in my database;

Employee (EmpID, Rank)
Project (Client, Accountnum, ContactComment, ProjectLeadComment).

Is is possible for SQL Server to create a xml schema like this from those tables. And would sql server be able to read the XML schema for updates and inserts.

Also note that they are paragraphs that needs to be stored within the ContactComment and ProjectLeadComment fields in the project table. Is it possible to store this type of information within these fields.

Thanks in advance.
