I have installed the reporting services on a PC with windows 2000 server SP4. In the reports site, I have defined the user "everyone" as a system user with browsing capabilities.
But when I browse to the reports site (from a PC that is outside of the domain - i.e. Internet), I am asked to enter User name+Password+Domain before I get the site home page.

I understand that is due to the operating system or IIS security, but I am not interested in getting this prompt (User name+Password+Domain). If I define the access of the Reports site accessible to "anonymous" (Reports site properties=>Directory Security) I don't get the prompt, but then I am no longer able to get the Administrator rights to manage the reports and site.

My question is: what do I have to do to avoid the prompt (User name+Password+Domain) and let the site itself manage the security (using the defined roles)?

Thanks for the help,
Elisabeth
