Hi I'm in need of a SQL Server 2000 Compare database. That will in essence tell me the difference between 2 Databases. Specifying all or most objects as well as Record counts. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Red-Gate is exactly what I would recommend, too.

RedGate's SQL Compare is great for Non-Replicated systems, however, they have no clue on how to deal with replication.

You can't directly alter a replicated table, but Red-Gate's software doesn't try to work around this in any way, but instead just throws errors saying "the table is replicated".

This is a major shortcoming of the tool if you use SQL Replication!

I am satisfied with Redgate as well.

I am educating developers though to keep track of their changes so we can avoid diff-ing.
