Importing a simple XLS spreadsheet file into an existing table. Just trying to use VBScript to transform a lastname and firstname into a fullname field. I've tried this several ways from modifying the CREATE TABLE SQL in the DTS wizard, to having the destination field in an existing table but I constantly get a script error that seems to indicate my destination column/field doesn't exist. Code fragment is:

DTSDestination("Last Name") = DTSSource("Last Name")
DTSDestination("First Name") = DTSSource("First Name")
DTSDestination("FullName") = DTSSource("Last Name") + ", " + DTSSource("First Name")

Column "FullName" doesn't exist in the XLS spreadsheet but it does exist in the destination table.

Thanks!

Lemme try that. Note to self: Find VBScript Language Reference. Thanks!
