Has anyone experienced the following:

DTS package imports a text file. At the end of the ledger month, the file is overwritten on an NT server via a mainframe ftp job. When the package is run again, the DTS package seems to import a 'cached' version of the file (the recordcount is last months count, not the new ftp rowcount). Any ideas? I'm thinking a problem with 7.0 server, 2000 client.

Thanks I got it.

The ftp job didnt delete the old files. There were files of the exact name on the nt server, but the dos name was different, I assume by the way they were delivered. When dts ran it didnt know which file to get.

Thanks
