Greeting All,
I set up a DTS package in SQL Server 2000 to copy data from a table in SQL Server 6.5 to a table in SQL Server 2K. The DTS package works fine, but the problem is that every time I run the DTS package, data is appended at the end of the table that double the number of the record. What I want is just write over the existing record not append.
Please give me some hint.

Thank you,

ConKi.

Thanks, rm
Do you mean the Transformation tab in the DTS package property? I can not find a delete options in this tab. Please note that I am setting up the DTS in SQL Server 2K pulling data from a 6.5 server.

DTS in 6.5 has that delete option and some how I can not find it in the DTS design in 2k. Please help.

Hi rm,
I look at the properties of my DTS package and I can not find any transformation column next to the target table name.

On the Destination tab, I choose the table from the drop down list and the only button I see is the Create button. I do the right click on the table name and get nothing.

Could you show me how I can get to the transformation column???

Thank you for your time,

Note: I am using SQL Server 2K creating a DTS package.

That is it. Thanks rm.

I add another SQL Task to truncate the table first and add it to the flow.

Thanks again.
