Our applications group in going full-speed into VB.net development and is planning to attend a week-long crash course in the technology within the next three weeks.
As the dba supporting operations and development, I have responsibility for the server configuration, and everything that goes on within SQL Server. This includes architecture, administration, performance, and development of stored procedures, views, functions, etc.
My question is ... what kind of training would best enable me to support the vb.net developers going forward? Should I attend all of their vb.net training or is there something more focused on SQL Server, or XML for the .net environment?
