When you script the code for an existing table via Generate SQL you get code like this:
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[mytablename] (
[CASH_ACCT] [varchar] (15) COLLATE Latin1_General_BIN NOT NULL ,
[CHECK_NBR] [varchar] (7) COLLATE Latin1_General_BIN NOT NULL ,
[VENDNO] [varchar] (6) COLLATE Latin1_General_BIN NULL ,
WHERE does the COLLATE statement get it's parameter from? I usually end up going through and deleting all the COLLATE statements because the COLLATE order of the databases is set to <database default>. I'm a little new to the entire COLLATE theory as it is. Is "Latin1_General_BIN" a default itself?
