I am wanting to change the subject line on an alert sent out.

I am using alerts and operators to send out mails when jobs fail. I can change the body of the mail to be roughly what I want, but I cannot seem to change the subject line

The subject line always is sent as follows:
"SQL Server Job System: 'job name' occured on \\server"

How do I change the underlying template of the alert mail?
Is there a template to change?

I looked in the help and it talks about PagerSubjectTemplate is C++ but there is nothing about E-Mail subject.

?

I have a few more restrictions on the process that stops me from just calling an sp.

I have a remote server that has jobs running. The jobs that fail then get picked up by a control server through and sp that looks in the msdb for all the jobs that failed. The control server has a table on it that takes uses the name of the remote job that failed to match against an alert to raise. When the alert is raised a mail is sent out to the relevant operators. The only problem that I have is that the subject of the mail has the wrong server name on it! I can use a parameter in the alert to change the description to include any bits and pieces I want.
