Forgot Windows 8/7/Vista/XP password? No need to worry! You can simply create a boot Windows password reset disk to reset the forgotten password, even you are a beginner. To create such a boot disk, you are usually required to download a Windows password reset tool in another PC that you can log in as administrator. But what if you just have a Mac instead of a PC? In this article, you'll find out how to reset forgotten Windows password with Mac.

What will you need?

* 1. A blank CD/DVD

* 2. Windows Password Unlocker for Mac

Windows Password Unlocker for Mac is a simple yet efficient Windows password reset tool. With this tool, you can simply burn a boot Windows password reset CD/DVD on Mac to bypass your forgotten local administrator, domain administrator and other user passwords for Windows 8/7/Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000.

How to reset Windows password with Mac?

Step 1. Download and install Windows Password Unlocker for Mac.

Go to the password unlocker studio and get this Windows password reset tool. Please download it on your Mac machine. After downloading, you'll find the download comes in the form of ISO image file.

Step 2. Burn a boot Windows Password reset CD/DVD on Mac

Insert your blank disc (DVD or CD) in Mac, and then go to Application - > Utilities -> Disk Utility, next drag and drop Windows Password Unlocker for Mac .iso file to the left pane in Disk Utility window. At that time, make the iso image file selected and click Burn button. A dialog box confirming the destination (your blank CD/DVD) will appear. Click Burn button and it will burn the ISO image file to the CD/DVD in seconds. Once burned, remove the CD/DVD form Mac.

Step 3. Reset Windows password with the burned CD/DVD.

Insert the burned CD/DVD in the PC that you want to reset password of and set its BIOS to boot from CD ROM. It will launch Windows Password Unlocker under the WinPE (see below screenshot).

And all the user accounts on the computer are listed on the software interface. Now you can simply select the user account you'd like to reset password of, and then click Reset button. The password of the selected user account will be removed immediately. At that time, if you continue to reset another user account, select that user account and click Reset button.

Once you have reset all the user passwords you'd like to, click Reboot button. Please remove the inserted boot CD/DVD while rebooting. When the Window logon screen appears, log into it without password.
