I have a replication scenario that I need to run by someone to see if my assumptions are correct.

I have two SQL 2000 servers, 1 in a workgroup and 1 in our main domain. The workgroup server will act as the publisher and the distributor and the other server is the subscriber.

The SQL services on the workgroup servers sign on with a user-id of ./SQLADMIN and the SQL services on the "domain" server sign on with the domain admin user.

The publications function normally. The pull subscription though fails with a OS 1326 error.

The question is that if I change the user that is logging in to the SQL services on the domain SQL server from Administrator to Domain/SQLADMIN this will resolve the 1326 issue, correct?

Is this the only solution? Is there any others?

Thank you.

Using SQL Autentication in both the publication and subscription cannot be used?
