I am trying to set up transactional replication but the initial snapshot is failing with the following error "SQL Server Does Not Exist Or Access Denied". The subscriber is up and running. The publisher, distributor , and subscriber SQL Agents are all logging in with the same Domain credentials. What could be happeneing here?

Yes, they all return the correct name.

The SQL Agent account is the same for Publisher, Distributor, and Subscriber and it is a Domain account. They are on the same network. I don't really know what you mean by "sql port open all the way".

Do I need to make sure all connections/users are out of the source database to do the initial snapshot?

I created replication on pubs and northwind (same publisher, distributor and subscriber) and it worked. Are you sure I don't have to have all users out of database for initial snapshot?

You are correct. Pubs and Northwind worked intially, but now they are erroring out with the same error message "SQL Server Does Not Exist Or Access Denied".

Don't really know. Uninstalled Replication and reinstalled and then it worked.
