i have weird situation

we have ssis deployed to one of our servers so we have.dtsx and config file
we lost solution sln file that package was built form
we need to make changes to the ssis

my question is:
can i just open dtsx file in Visual Studio make change and save it? then there will be no Build Process, no Manifest File, no package deployment etc.

Affirmative.

As long as you make GOOD changes, it should be OK.

You can also pull them back to a new solution/project and reconfigure them.
