I'm under a time constraint and I have a lot to do else I would just experiment with this myself til I get it right. However due to the time issue I'm hoping someone iut there already has soemthing they could provide as an example/sample code. In the application being used an import of records from a csv file into a single table in a SQL Server DB occurs every day early in the morning. What I need is to come up with a package that will take the csv file after the import is done and move the csv file into a subdirectory of it's current location and also rename it. So as an example let's assume that the csv file is located at:

C:\Data\path

and the file name is importdata.csv and I need to move it to here:

C:\Data\path\Past_Imports

and rename it to importdata_MMDDYYYY.csv where MM = Month, DD = day of the month and YYYY = 4 digit year.

Does anyone already have or can quickly put together the DTS code needed for this basic file I/O process>

Thanks
