I know this is an academic question, but maybe someone will know if I am right. Here is the question
Suppose a data warehouse has four dimensions and two measures.
If each dimension has five levels (including **all**), such as student < major < status < university < **all**, how many cuboids will this cube contain (including the base and apex cubes)?
The formula I found in the book states to multiply (from 1 to n) (Li + 1). If I use 4 levels (exclude **all**) with 4 dimensions, then I get
4^4 = 256 cubes
Is this correct?
Thanks,
