Dear expext,

I running into the trouble that the SQL 2000 SP3a installation quit suddenly after authetication with error message prompt. I get the following when evaluating the SQLSP.LOG. Can any expert provide the solution?

Our SQL server do not running analysis service and is running on win2000 SP4. We have ever tried out to stop the SQL services and reset SA password to blank but in vain. Pls. advise.

The above error indicates that an appropriate collation is not available to the install. Would you be able to re run the installation and choose the custom install instead of the typical install. Select an appropriate collation when prompted.
